Robert Johnson’s “Love in Vain” | Justin Johnson
I’ve gotten several subscriber requests for Robert Johnson’s “Love in Vain.” I wanted to perform it differently than just a straight homage on acoustic guitar, so I came up with a new tuning for this electric guitar arrangement where I tune to Open A, but then tune the low E string all the way down to the A. It makes the low string sound more like a bass guitar playing along, especially when I palm mute it.
