Conventional picking exercises can be extremely beneficial to practice but a lot of them don’t sound very good. Which makes it hard to stay motivated to practice them for a long time. It’s always better to have something MUSICAL and easy on the ears to help work on your technique.

I thought the beginning part sounded a little like a specific guitarist. Who does it remind you of?
