It’s hard to find a more contagious, toe-tappin’ rhythm than the original recording of Ray Charles’ “What’d I Say.” That Wurlitzer intro, the pounding drums & heavy backbeat, and those soulful vocal breaks. This is always one of my favorite tunes to play when I want to get the blood pumpin’! You don’t hear a lot of fingerstyle guitar on the resonator, but after this, you’ll probably be hearing a lot more from me!
