There is something about Autumn, when Summer fades and leaves start falling down, that always puts this song in my head. I also felt like it was the perfect song to play on this “Smoothtalker” Guitar from Mervyn Davis Guitars… both because the body shape is reminiscent of some of Prince’s famous guitars, but also because the ease of playing and high fret access allows for a more “electric” guitar approach to this kind of acoustic fingerstyle arrangement.
